As Principal of Oasis Insurance & Retirement Services, I sincerely believe that most people want to do what's right, right for themselves, their families, and their communities. That's one of the reasons I joined New York Life in 2012. After years of experience in management, marketing, business development, and education, I wanted the opportunity to help individuals and families make informed financial decisions while making a meaningful impact in the communities I serve.
Having been a proud Virginia resident for more than 40 years, I have a vested interest in helping my friends, neighbors, and local communities succeed. I understand many of the same hopes, challenges, and aspirations my clients face, and I am committed to providing guidance, education, and personalized strategies to help them pursue their financial goals with confidence.
Whether your priorities include protecting your family's financial future, preparing for retirement, funding a child's education, building wealth, or planning for life's unexpected events, I can help introduce you to solutions designed to align with your unique needs and objectives.
I am a licensed agent with New York Life Insurance Company and hold a Master of Education from Virginia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Ferrum College. I also earned a Graduate Certificate through the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business Mini MBA Program and completed New York Life's award-winning training program, NYLIC University.
Throughout my career with New York Life, I have been honored with numerous awards recognizing outstanding performance and achievement, including work with business owners and executives in the business solutions arena. Beyond serving my clients, I am passionate about contributing to the growth and development of both the company and the profession. I have served in various capacities such as a member of New York Life's Agent Advisory Council, the Social Justice Committee, and currently as a Political Involvement Leader in the Richmond General Office. I am also an active mentor to fellow financial professionals, serve on the Board of Directors for the New York Life Foundation, and have been invited to participate as a guest panelist for numerous New York Life roundtables, leadership discussions, and General Office kick-off meetings.
While I value the education, experience, and leadership opportunities that have shaped my career, I believe the most important part of my work is getting to know the people I serve. Understanding my clients' goals, values, concerns, and aspirations allows me to provide guidance that is both personal and meaningful.
If you're looking for a trusted professional committed to helping you protect what matters most and prepare for the future with confidence, I would welcome the opportunity to work with you.
